Been blogless for quite some time. Have to say, I've been quite busy. Not necessarily with work, but with tons of other things.

Since my birthday, I've been reasonably happy coz things are going my way. My family's ok (I say it is coz I don't really dwell on family matters.), I enjoy the perks being an information management analyst give me, and most especially, I finally found some really amazing friends here. Kaya naman I'm always out lately. Xmas functions, parties and gimmicks left and right. They are exhausting, but I can't get enough of them. Nagiging best friend ko na tuloy ang vodka. Haha.

But last week was quite a down time for me. I got really depressed coz Karol and I almost broke up. He's too pressured with work and all his issues with his family. And worse, m not there to show him some girlfriend support and comfort. He's so not ok with our set up. Sabi nya sa text, "hayaan mo muna ako. Magulo utak ko. Sa bahay. Sa trabaho. Sa aten...mahal naman kita. Hindi lang talaga ako masaya." These words poked me in the eyes, couldn't stop crying. I honestly thought our thing was over, that he has given up on me. But after how many days of drama, he took all his words back like what he always does.

I suddenly understood how Laine really feels. It did feel like the end of the world, my world. If we did break up, I wouldn't know where to start. We already have all our plans sorted out kaya I'll be in a vacuum if he leaves me. He's a really big part of my life already, and I can't just throw that away.

And then there were heaps of silly things that went on my mind like "will I find another boyfriend before the finish line?" Hahaha. I figured out that if we did break up, I will go back to pinas para rumampa, coz if I stay here single, there's a big chance that I'll stay single for the rest of my life. Hahaha.

Oh well, all those dramas are over, at least for now. I'm not sure how much time we have left to endure the stress of being in a long distance relationship. All I know is, we are trying.

So I guess, I'm still going to have a nice xmas after all.

Christmas here is boring unless you put effort to pep it up a bit. All facilities are closed. Even the train station and the bus companies and Mc Donald's! but because it is summer, people drive and camp somewhere, BBQs, swimming, tramping, etc. They are up for outdoor adventures.

As for pinoy's, they usually get together for dinner or lunch or whatever, if they don't go home to pinas. We'll do a similar thing. We'll go to the South Island and celebrate Xmas with another family. We'll stay there for 3 days and look around the place. 26 Dec is boxing day. It's a whole day of bargains and sales kaya dadayo kami sa Christchurch for massive shopping.

I'm a bit broke these past few days kalalabas, so I'm culling down my budget for xmas presents, etc. but I do plan to ring few people for a short catch up. That should be enough. Sigh.

Happy holidays everyone!
